About Kanban Project Tracker

Kanban Project Tracker is a Microsoft Teams application that brings visual project management directly into your team channels and group chats. Add a kanban board as a tab in any Teams channel or group chat to organize tasks, track progress, and collaborate with your team — all without leaving Microsoft Teams.

How to Use

  1. Install Kanban Project Tracker from the Microsoft Teams app store
  2. Navigate to a Teams channel or group chat where you want to add a board
  3. Click the + button in the tab bar and select Kanban Project Tracker
  4. Create a new board or select an existing one during tab configuration
  5. Add tasks to your board by clicking the add button in any column
  6. Drag and drop tasks between columns and rows to track progress
  7. Click on any task card to add details, comments, attachments, checklists, and assignees

Supported Scopes

Kanban Project Tracker works in the following Microsoft Teams contexts:

  • Channel Tabs — Add a kanban board as a tab in any Teams channel
  • Group Chat Tabs — Add a kanban board to any group chat
  • Personal Tab — Access your boards from the personal app area
